Marketing Lead

Role Description

The Marketing Lead will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for India Autism Center’s diverse programs, including admissions, awareness campaigns, community initiatives, and donor engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic foresight and operational rigor. The ideal candidate will be a growth-oriented marketer, a storyteller, and a collaborative team player who can inspire internal stakeholders while elevating IAC’s external brand presence.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing & Program Leadership

  • Lead marketing strategies for all IAC programs, including admissions, residential initiatives (Samaavesh), training courses, research dissemination, and events.
  • Develop integrated multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, PR, events) to enhance program visibility and reach.
  • Identify and prioritize target audiences for programs, donors, and collaborators, design messaging and positioning accordingly.

2. Brand Management & Communication

  • Maintain and elevate IAC’s brand positioning across all communications.
  • Ensure consistent, culturally relevant, and impactful messaging in all program collateral.
  • Develop thought leadership content for the leadership team, including op-eds, interviews, blogs, podcasts, and panel discussions

3. Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and website optimization.
  • Monitor key KPIs and generate actionable insights for program performance, engagement, and admissions.
  • Leverage data-driven marketing to enhance lead generation, donor engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • Build and manage relationships with media, corporate partners, NGOs, and educational institutions.
  • Lead PR and media outreach to secure coverage in regional, national, and international platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, operations, research) to align messaging and program objectives.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and inspire the marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Act as a bridge between program teams and communications teams to ensure timely and accurate marketing support.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to build a high-performance marketing team aligned with IAC’s mission.

6. Event & Campaign Management

  • Oversee high-impact events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns from conception to execution.
  • Ensure flawless delivery of event marketing, PR, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Measure and optimize events for maximum visibility, attendance, and donor engagement.

Requirements

Key Qualities

  • Demonstrated success in digital marketing, lead generation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with KPIs, ROI metrics, and campaign reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft compelling stories across formats.
  • Proven team leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 10 years+ of experience in strategic marketing, brand management, and integrated campaigns; experience in social impact or nonprofit marketing is a strong plus
