Role Overview :
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Resident Special Educator to join our residential program team. The Resident Special Educator will provide individualized care and educational support to residents with neurodevelopmental disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability (ID), and related conditions. The role involves fostering residents’ independence, emotional well-being, and adaptive functioning within a structured residential setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide individualized support to residents with neurodevelopmental disabilities like ASD, ID, and related conditions.
- Supervise and mentor caregivers, ensuring they follow best practices in communication, hygiene, safety, and positive reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation of each resident’s progress, challenges, and behavioral observations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review resident care strategies and progress updates.
- Assist in creating structured routines and adaptive environments that foster independence and emotional regulation.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral or sensory challenges with patience and professional calm.
- Collaborate with families and clinical professionals to maintain continuity of care and support.
Requirements :
- D.Ed or B.Ed in Special Education (preferably with specialization in autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability).
- RCI registration is mandatory.
- Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and English for effective communication with residents and caregivers.

Compensation :
₹30,000/month post-confirmation; ₹10,000/month during the first 3 months of training and probationary period
Working Days :
6 days/week
Timings :
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Night shift available with additional remuneration)
