Core Responsibilities
1. Induction and Training:
- Orientation on IAC’s mission, values, and communication style.
 - Introduction to video editing standards, brand tone, and past video library.
 - Training on editing tools (premiere, davinci, photoshop, after effects – optional).
 - Shadow content head on editing process.
 - Small trial assignments: trimming footage, adding subtitles, resizing for social media.
 - Strong command on short format video content, including graphic designing and motion graphics.
 - Basic knowledge and handling of photo/videography equipment.
 - Optional: Editing and handling log video footage and basic color grading.
 
2. Foundation & Initial Deliverables (Probation)
- Hands-on practice through supervised deliverables.
Extract 2–3 social media clips/reels per long format video. - Assist in editing one short event highlight video/instagram reel as and when needed.
 - Create branded templates for lower-thirds, intro/outro sequences.
 - Sync edits with social media calendar and meet the deadline.
 - Probation review at the end of Week 4.
 
3. Independent Execution & Departmental Coordination
- Move towards independent editing with light supervision.
 - Take full ownership of reels and weekly video snippets.
 - Edit at least one longer video (donor story, testimonial, or explainer).
 - Coordinate with the design team for motion graphics.
 - Ensure videos are optimised for different platforms.
 - Document editing processes into a quick “video playbook.”
 
4. Leadership & Strategic Execution
- Develop leadership and creative input.
 - Lead editing for a major campaign/event.
 - Propose 2–3 creative video ideas to strengthen IAC’s storytelling.
 - Deliver a mid-program video portfolio of completed work
 
5. Weeks 13–24: Advanced Project & Capstone
- Independently manage a full video pipeline for 1–2 key campaigns/events.
 - Final review and handover of reusable video templates + learnings.
