Core Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & IT Operations
- Assist with day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, and system access control.
- Help maintain IT infrastructure documentation.
- Support antivirus checks, system updates, and basic security monitoring.
- Assist in setting up workstations for new joiners.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT-related queries or support.
2. System Maintenance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records (systems, devices, accessories).
- Assist in organizing and updating digital documentation.
- Support in preparing IT reports, checklists, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure all configurations and changes are properly recorded.
- Assist in documenting recurring issues and resolutions.
3. Administrative & Project Support
- Assist the IT team with day-to-day administrative coordination.
- Provide updates on assigned tasks and troubleshooting status.
- Support basic networking tasks such as router checks and cable management.
- Assist in IT-related projects, setups, and upgrades.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and communication for IT operations.
Requirements
– Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
– Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
– Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT tools.
– Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
Key Qualities
– Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
– Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to new technologies.
