Meetings done Differently: Our Weekend with Sanchaar

1 MIN READ

Sanchaar carries out community-based rehabilitation in fifteen districts in Bengal. So, when we signed Sanchaar as our Outreach partner in Sirakol and beyond, we knew it would be no easy task. A string of meetings with Sanchaar has gone chugging black coffee, frantic note taking, rechecking and brainstorming how we can truly reach the grassroots in providing intervention services to individuals with disabilities and provide support structures for the caregivers.

While all these deliverables to create the impact of our dreams unfold with their speed, we were grateful that the community we serve and hope to make a considerable difference in the lives of could come together for a song, dance and have their shoes tugged on by our resident doggos, Gattu, Peeku and Bubbles, for the last of winter. No notetaking, lemonade and pure fun. It was such a good weekend! Such a good weekend!
