Role Description

The Head of Admissions leads and manages the overall admissions strategy, ensuring a seamless and effective enrollment process. This role involves driving admissions marketing, developing policies, streamlining the admission process, and ensuring compliance with legal and statutory guidelines for neurodevelopmental conditions in India. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and experience in student recruitment and admissions management.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement an effective admissions strategy, plan, and budget that are aligned with the vision and goals of IAC.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to optimise recruitment efforts.
  • Set and monitor enrollment targets to drive student intake growth.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve student retention and success.

2. Admissions Outreach 

  • Design and oversee admissions campaigns to attract potential students nationally and internationally.
  • Develop digital and offline strategies, including social media, events, and partnerships, in collaboration with the communications team. 
  • Strengthen relationships with parent advocacy groups, residential and daycare institutions, etc.
  • Represent the organisation at conferences, fairs, community engagements etc.

3. Admissions Process Management 

  • Oversee and improve the end-to-end admissions process to ensure efficiency and transparency.
  • Implement best practices in student evaluation, selection, enrollment and transition to campus in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Ensure prompt and effective communication with prospective students and parents.

4. Policy Development & Compliance

  • Establish, review, and update admissions policies to ensure alignment with institutional and regulatory requirements nationally and internationally.
  • Ensure fairness, transparency, and inclusivity in the admissions process.
  • Stay updated on laws, regulations and ensure compliance with educational standards concerning neurodevelopmental conditions in India and abroad.

5. Admissions Agreements & Documentation

  • Develop, manage and have a sound grasp of admission agreements, contracts, and policies for incoming students and parents on campus.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is collected, verified, and maintained properly.
  • Negotiate agreements with parents and educate them on admission methodologies.

6. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Leverage technology to automate and enhance the admissions workflow.
  • Monitor key performance metrics for admissions and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on admissions trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems to streamline admission processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or a related leadership role in an academic or educational setting.
