2. Scope

This Disclaimer applies to:

• All careers and recruitment pages, application forms, internship listings, training enrollments, and related processes hosted on or linked through the IAC website
• All recruitment- and training-related communications, including emails, messages, interviews, assessments, and verbal interactions
• All users and participants, including applicants, interns, trainees, volunteers, and prospective candidates

3. Application and Selection Process

• Submission of an application does not guarantee employment, internship placement, volunteer engagement, or training enrollment.
• IAC reserves the right to screen, shortlist, interview, select, reject, suspend, or discontinue any candidate or application at its sole discretion, subject to applicable laws and internal policies.

• Any misrepresentation, falsification, or material omission may result in disqualification, withdrawal of an offer, termination of candidacy, or removal from a training program, without notice.
• IAC reserves the right to verify information through internal checks or third-party verification services, where appropriate.

5. Recruitment and Training Outcomes

• Participation in recruitment processes, internships, or training programs does not guarantee employment, placement, promotion, certification, or financial benefit.
• IAC makes no representations regarding career outcomes, future engagement, or professional advancement arising from participation.
• Decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from applications or training participation remain the responsibility of the applicant.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

• IAC, its trustees, directors, employees, volunteers, consultants, and partners shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
  A. Technical issues affecting the website, application portals, or third-party platforms
  B. Internet outages, system failures, server errors, or communication delays
  C. Decisions related to candidate selection, rejection, suspension, or termination
  D. Reliance on recruitment, training, or program-related information
• No recruitment communication, interview, or training interaction shall be construed as creating a contractual or employment relationship unless expressly confirmed in writing by IAC.

7. Internal Controls and Recordkeeping

• Role-Based Access: Applicant and trainee data is accessible only to authorized personnel, including HR or administrative staff for operational purposes and senior management or auditors for oversight.
• Logging and Traceability: Applications, interview records, communications, evaluations, and decisions are securely logged to support internal reviews, grievance handling, and regulatory or audit requirements.
• Records are retained in accordance with applicable laws and internal retention policies.

8. Third-Party Platforms and Tools

• Recruitment, interviews, assessments, or training delivery may involve third-party platforms or tools (e.g., video conferencing software, recruitment portals, assessment tools).
• IAC does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, data handling, or privacy practices of such third-party platforms.
• Use of third-party platforms is subject to the respective provider’s terms and policies.

9. Data Collection and Privacy

• All applicants’ and trainees’ personal data is processed in accordance with IAC’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
• Personal data may be shared with authorized internal staff or third-party service providers strictly for recruitment, training, verification, or statutory compliance purposes.
• Applicants have the right to:

  B. Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal, audit, and record-retention obligations
  C. Withdraw consent for non-essential communications, including marketing

10. Verification of Credentials

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to recruitment, training, or use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, India.
