25 Durga Puja pandals of Kolkata, open for Puja Preview

India Autism Center, in the 4th year of MassArt’s Durga Puja Preview Show, joins the celebration with primarily one mission – making Pujo a space for everyone. This one-of-a-kind collaboration reflects a five-day Preview Show from 18th to 22nd September, allowing everyone to experience an inclusive Durga Puja before the main festivities begin.

As part of this campaign, India Autism Center will host a Pujo Parikrama with individuals from special schools, giving them the chance to soak in the colours, artistry, and energy of the pandal. We’ll also be conducting a sensitization workshop for MassArt volunteers (approximately 50) so they can meet, welcome, and engage with neurodiverse individuals with warmth and understanding.

The heart of it all will be the invitation to 250 families from the neurodiverse community to join us for the Preview Show. By blending the spirit of Durga Puja with the value of inclusion, we hope to show that festivals can be for everyone, and that when everyone is welcomed, the celebrations only grow richer.
