Role Overview
To drive the development, execution, monitoring and review of IAC’s organisational strategy and strategic priorities.
The role will work closely with the CEO’s Office, leadership team and departments to translate organisational priorities into measurable plans, monitor performance and ensure strategic alignment across the organisation.
This is a high-thinking, high-ownership role requiring the ability to understand IAC holistically, challenge thinking, identify strategic gaps and bring structure to complex organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning
- Translate IAC’s organisational strategy into strategic priorities, initiatives, departmental goals and measurable outcomes.
- Lead annual and periodic strategy planning and goal-setting exercises across departments.
- Work with HODs to develop goals, KPIs, action plans and timelines aligned with organisational priorities.
- Identify strategic gaps, interdependencies and opportunities and provide clear recommendations to leadership.
- Drive organisation-wide and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
2. Strategy & Performance Review
- Own the framework for monitoring organisational and departmental performance against agreed goals, KPIs, milestones and outcomes.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual strategy and performance reviews.
- Analyse performance to identify gaps, risks, delays, dependencies and areas requiring intervention.
- Recommend corrective actions and strategic interventions to leadership.
- Track decisions and ensure follow-through on agreed strategic actions.
3. Strategic Reporting & Decision Support
- Own the CEO’s Office reporting framework across departments.
- Analyse departmental reports and convert information into key insights, exceptions, risks and areas requiring leadership attention.
- Develop and maintain strategic dashboards, trackers and performance reports.
- Prepare concise, decision-oriented reports, presentations and briefing materials for the CEO’s Office and leadership team.
- Continuously improve systems for accurate, timely and actionable management information.
Key Outcomes
- Translate IAC’s organisational strategy into clear strategic priorities, departmental goals, KPIs, action plans and measurable outcomes.
- Establish and maintain an effective organisation-wide framework for monitoring strategy and performance.
- Ensure regular monthly, quarterly and annual strategy and performance reviews are conducted with clear identification of gaps, risks, dependencies and required interventions.
- Provide the CEO’s Office and leadership team with accurate, timely and actionable strategic reporting and decision support.
- Drive alignment and follow-through on organisation-wide and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Must-Have Requirements
- MBA with strong academic/project experience and a demonstrated problem-solving and strategic thinking mindset may be considered.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, business planning, organisational performance, transformation or a similar role.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to understand the larger organisational picture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and structured-thinking abilities.
- Strong experience in strategy execution, performance management and organisational planning.
- Ability to constructively challenge senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, performance measurement, dashboards and management reporting.
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating independently in an evolving organisation.
- High attention to detail while maintaining focus on the larger strategic objective.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Power BI, data visualisation, project management and AI tools.
- Experience working directly with senior leadership or CEO/Executive Offices on organisational strategy and performance.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
