Role Overview
This role is critical to building and managing the operational backbone of the campus. The Campus Operations Associate will help design systems, processes, and administrative frameworks that ensure the campus runs efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
The role directly contributes to enabling a well-functioning environment for program delivery, residential life, and long-term institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Policy & Systems Development
- Develop and implement operational policies across campus functions
- Design SOPs for housekeeping, security, pantry, and facility management
- Continuously improve processes based on operational feedback
Campus Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functioning of the campus
- Ensure readiness of facilities for programs and residential use
- Support the smooth execution of all on-ground campus activities
Staff & Vendor Coordination
- Supervise housekeeping, pantry, security, gardeners, and Group D staff
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service quality delivery
- Track adherence to service agreements and performance standards
Inventory & Resource Management
- Set up and manage inventory systems for supplies and consumables
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of resources
- Monitor usage to reduce wastage and improve efficiency
Facility Management & Compliance
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of campus infrastructure
- Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards
Key Outcomes
- Fully functional SOPs and operational systems established before campus launch
- Smooth day-to-day campus operations with minimal disruptions
- High service quality across housekeeping, security, and facility management
- Efficient inventory systems with controlled costs and minimal wastage
- Strong vendor and staff management ensuring operational reliability
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in operations, administration, or facility management
- Strong ability to build and implement processes from scratch
- Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders and vendors
- Willingness to work on-site at the Sirakol campus
- Strong problem-solving and execution skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in campus, hospital, NGO, or institutional operations
- Exposure to SOP creation and process documentation
- Basic understanding of facility management and compliance standards
- Experience working in early-stage or setup environments
