Role Overview

The Multidisciplinary Team Head will lead and integrate clinical and vocational services across psychiatry, psychology, special education, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and vocational training. This role is critical in ensuring holistic, evidence-based, and person-centered care for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs), enabling both therapeutic progress and functional independence outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical & Vocational Leadership

Define and implement a comprehensive multidisciplinary care model integrating clinical therapies and vocational training
Establish clinical protocols, assessment frameworks, and intervention standards
Design and oversee vocational training strategies for individuals with ASD and other NDDs
Lead complex case discussions, including transition planning from therapy to vocational engagement

2. Team Management & Capacity Building

Lead and manage a diverse team including psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and vocational trainers
Drive recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management across clinical and vocational functions
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and integrated care planning
Build internal capacity through continuous learning, especially in functional and livelihood-oriented interventions

3. Program Execution & Service Delivery

Oversee end-to-end service delivery across therapy and vocational domains
Ensure individualized intervention and vocational plans are designed, implemented, and reviewed effectively
Monitor therapy quality, vocational readiness, and functional outcomes of individuals
Ensure optimal utilization of clinical and vocational infrastructure

4. Stakeholder Coordination

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external partners for holistic care and vocational integration
Act as the primary clinical and functional authority for internal and external stakeholders
Support partnerships with employers, training institutes, and community organizations for vocational opportunities
Contribute to awareness, outreach, and advocacy initiatives

5. Governance, Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with clinical, vocational, and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate documentation across therapy and vocational programs
Track key performance indicators related to clinical progress, vocational outcomes, and service efficiency
Support audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement processes

Must-Have Requirements

One of the following educational qualifications (mandatory):
- Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology / Rehabilitation Sciences / Social Work / Health Sciences (with relevant clinical focus)
15+ years of experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs)
Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated experience in designing or implementing vocational training programs for individuals with ASD/NDDs
Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic and functional intervention approaches

Preferred Skills

Experience in integrated care or institutional setups
Exposure to livelihood, transition planning, and independent living models
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in training, research, or large-scale program development
Familiarity with assistive technologies and vocational assessment tools
