India Autism Center Amplifies Voices at Purple Fest Goa 2025

Every year, International Purple Fest Goa brings together changemakers, advocates, and organizations committed to building an inclusive India. This year, we at the India Autism Center (IAC) had the privilege of participating as the official podcast partner, using the power of storytelling to amplify diverse voices from across the disability community.

Over five inspiring days, our team recorded 49 podcast episodes, featuring ministers from the Government of Goa, professionals from the disability sector, and self-advocates who shared their lived experiences.

Each conversation reflected the festival’s spirit: inclusion, empowerment, and accessibility for all.

How India Autism Center Engaged at Purple Fest Goa

Our participation went beyond podcasting. The IAC stall at Purple Fest served as a welcoming space for attendees to connect with our team, learn about our initiatives, and explore potential collaborations.

It quickly became a hub of dialogue and discovery, where curiosity met community.

We also took part in multiple conferences and workshops that covered topics ranging from disability rights and accessible design to inclusive education and neurodiversity advocacy.

These sessions deepened our understanding and strengthened our commitment to advancing inclusion through collective effort.

Connecting, Learning, and Leading Conversations

Throughout Purple Fest Goa 2025, our team engaged with policymakers, NGOs, industry leaders, and advocates. This helped us forge relationships that will continue to inform and inspire our work at India Autism Center.

Social media was another key focus. We captured stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and powerful testimonials to create a content bank that will continue to promote awareness long after the event.

Looking Ahead: Inclusion as a Continuous Journey

The experience at Purple Fest Goa 2025 reaffirmed our belief that inclusion thrives on conversation, and conversation begins with listening.

At India Autism Center, we are committed to continuing these dialogues, expanding our network, and working toward a future where accessibility isn’t a privilege, but a norm.
