In collaboration with FICCI, we created a space where families, educators, and communities could come together, feel seen, and share a meaningful experience. Students from special schools attended with their parents, alongside FICCI dignitaries and representatives from the Australian and UK consulates.
We were honoured to have Dr. Shashi Panja as our Chief Guest and Koel Mullick as Guest of Honour, whose presence reinforced the importance of inclusion in mainstream spaces.
The experience went beyond just watching a film. Students expressed themselves by writing heartfelt letters to the movie’s cast—sharing their thoughts, emotions, and reflections. A themed, interactive photo booth added a layer of fun and engagement, making the event even more memorable for families.
We organised this screening because representation matters. Stories like Sitaare Zameen Par help build understanding, spark conversations, and create empathy—especially when experienced together as a community.
What did this event make possible?
It gave families a space to connect. It gave children a platform to express themselves. And it reminded all of us that inclusion begins with awareness, acceptance, and shared experiences.
The event was covered by leading media houses like The Times of India and The Telegraph, amplifying the message of neurodiversity and inclusion to a wider audience.
This wasn’t just a screening—it was a celebration of every unique story that deserves to be seen and heard.
